The AAKP was honored to be invited to present and exhibit at the 2017 Florida Renal Administrators Association Meeting. The FRAA aims to provide a consolidated, focused and multi-disciplinary forum to improve access and quality of care for Florida’s Chronic Kidney Disease patients. Diana Clynes, AAKP Director of Programs and Services, addressed meeting attendees on July 21st, providing an overview of AAKP’s major programs, activities and advocacy initiatives. Highlights of the AAKP presentation included the association’s KidneyWorks project and the AAKP Regional Advocacy Program which will impact patients on a national and local level. AAKP joined a number of other industry and non-profit partners in the exhibit hall, sharing the Association’s patient resources. “As an organization representing the U.S. kidney patient population, we are always honored to participate in national and local activities to further the patient voice and demonstrate how AAKP strives to help improve patient care and a patient’s quality of life,” states Mrs. Clynes.
