AAKP CELEBRATES 50 YEARS!

Join AAKP in celebrating its 50th Anniversary all year long!

2019 is a milestone year for AAKP as the organization marks 50 years of successful patient engagement and advocacy. AAKP is the oldest and largest, fully independent kidney patient organization in the U.S.A. Founded in 1969 by six dialysis patients, with doctor encouragement, our Founders helped create the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Program, saving more than one million lives since 1973.

Dedicated to improving the quality of life and long-term outcomes for kidney patients through education, advocacy, patient engagement and the fostering of patient communities – we fight for early detection, increased transplantation, full patient choice of either at-home or in-center dialysis care, and promotion of innovation. With 50 years of effective patient engagement experience, AAKP is leading the way in elevating the patient voice and changing the status quo for kidney disease care.

Give 50 for AAKP’s 50th!

Help support the AAKP and celebrate our 50-year legacy of education, advocacy and patient engagement.  All funds go toward supporting the mission of AAKP and ensuring that those who suffer from kidney diseases are provided with the information and resources they need to understand their condition, make informed choices about their care, and achieve their aspirations. Donations also go toward supporting the AAKP Ambassador Program and ensuring that the true patient voice is represented to policy-makers whose decisions impact patient care.

Donate today. Together, we ARE making a difference in the lives of those affected by kidney disease and those yet to be diagnosed.
