With over twelve years of law office experience, Candice is a skilled and dedicated Paralegal known for strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage both independent and team-driven responsibilities. Her background includes extensive work in criminal law, education law, and private practice, where she has consistently provided critical support to attorneys through case preparation, document management, and client communications.

Candice is currently serving as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal at the 18th District Attorney’s Office.  She manages both digital and paper case files, prepares legal forms, and ensures accuracy and compliance across multiple databases. Her prior roles include serving as a Legal Clerk for the Birmingham Board of Education and as a Paralegal at The Hazzard Law Firm, where she developed expertise in trial preparation, discovery, and contract support.

 Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience as a Legal Assistant at The Cochran Firm and Eric Guster Law Firm, where she worked closely with attorneys on personal injury and civil cases. Beyond the legal field, she also built a strong foundation in client relations and operations management through roles in customer service, sales, and administrative support.  Candice holds a Paralegal Certificate from Jacksonville State University and a degree in Human Resource Management from Virginia College, equipping her with both legal knowledge and interpersonal skills to thrive in dynamic environments. Her career reflects adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting justice and organizational growth.
