This unique group exists to help chronic kidney disease patients learn from other patients who are experiencing similar challenges. Our format offers a unique twist, by offering both support and education. To ease attendance, we hold most of our meetings virtually, through tele-conference calls. Periodic on-site sessions will also be included as a means to offer informal patient to patient mentoring and support. The primary objective is to help kidney disease patients find a more proactive path to their best life possible. Many sessions will be focused on how to become more engaged in your care, advocate for yourself and develop a fighting spirit to secure your best life possible.
