Kidney Innovation Summit

Department of Veterans Affairs, the VA Center for Innovation, and the American Society of Nephrology are pleased to host the Kidney Innovation Summit, where we are joining 150 attendees from Federal agencies, non-profits, industry and patient advocacy groups to explore innovation opportunities in chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy (dialysis), and transplant.

AAKP’s President, Paul T. Conway, will be presenting on February 9, 2017 during the Transplant Session at 4:45P – 5:30P in the Transplant Panel Discussion and on February 10, 2017 at 1:00 – 2:00P at the Roundtable Discussions on Patient Education/Informed Decision Making in the lower hall.

AAKP’s Vice President, Richard Knight, will be presenting on February 9, 2017 during the Renal Replacement Therapy Session (RRT Panel Discussion) in the Q&A Session at 2:30-3:15P.

AAKP’s Board Member and US Veteran, David (Dave) White will also be attending. Dave is a veteran of in-center, in-center nocturnal, and peritoneal dialysis, and received a kidney transplant in 2015. He enjoys speaking, writing, and presenting about kidney disease awareness and patient engagement.
